The Air Jordan 12 “Rising Sun” was originally set to release today, October 24th. Due to the rising sun artwork on the insole Jordan Brand put a freeze on the release. We are aware that some of you were still able to score a pair with the rising sun insole still intact. However, everyone else will have to wait for the new release date to arrive. The new release date for the “Rising Sun” Jordan 12 is November 21st. We’re unsure how JB plans to deal with the insole situation, but the kicks have been pushed back to 11/21/09.
We’re assuming the value will go up on pairs that have the original insoles. We can see it now, at the next sneaker event someone will have the kicks on their table with the rising sun insoles on display. Funny, but true! Info via TheShoeGame.
